Project Interface Engineer ( Offshore/Subsea Production system)
RINA is an international consultancy firm based in Italy and operating worldwide in inspection, certification, engineering and field supervision in environment, marine, O&G and power, renewables energy and more.
Currently we are looking for a Project Interface Engineer experienced in offshore projects, particularly in Subsea Production Systems, for an Oil&Gas project ongoing in Angola.
The Project Interface Engineer is responsible for managing the interface between various parties involved in the project and ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing the interface between the client, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors of the overall project in accordance with the agreed project objectives.:
§ Develop and implement the interface management plan, including identifying and managing interface risks.
§ Facilitate effective communication between the client, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
§ Identify, document, and manage interface issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize technical and economic risks.
§ Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives while aligning with overall Company/Subsidiary objectives.
§ Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all parties involved in the project to foster positive teamwork and communication.
§ Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress reports to the project team and stakeholders to keep all parties informed of project status.
§ Ensure compliance with project procedures, standards, and specifications to maintain quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
§ Manage interfaces and control their relevant activities, facilitating agreements and changes as necessary.
§ Contribute to projects reporting by identifying and reporting interface status.
§ Support the Project Interface Coordinator/Engineering Manager in the execution and coordination of project key events with Company management, partners, stakeholders, and authorities.
§ Monitor and follow up on day-to-day progress to ensure compliance with budget and schedule.
§ Ensure the application of local rules and the Company’s standards in terms of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality, aimed at achieving the area’s objectives.
§ Sensitize all involved stakeholders towards the Company’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality principles to promote a safety culture
