Responsible for planning and execution of capital and minor projects to improve the SCAT (Synthetic Catalyst

Activity Test) ability to properly support the development of novel mobile and stationary emission control technology. This includes the diagnosis and repair of complex safety, reactor and analytical instrumentation required to support routine and new operations.

Your responsibilities:
Collaborates with Lab Manager, lab supervisors, and Development teams in the definition, planning and execution of projects targeting the improvement of the laboratories’ capability and OEE.
Prioritizes process and occupational risk assessment of the procurement and eventual use of new instrumentation and operating procedures.
Will support appropriate testing activities as required by challenging business demands.
Provide technical resource and assistance to SCAT analysts.
Defines and reports KPI’s pertaining to project completion to clearly communicate progress and escalate delays to stakeholders and senior management as appropriate when an impact to test programmes is anticipated and/or additional support is required.
Uses the lean process with proactive daily meetings involving the SCAT team and stakeholders to monitor safety, schedule adherence, 5S and quality.
Proactively manages the safety, housekeeping and equipment capability and inventories. Monitors testing quality and takes active steps for continuous improvement.

Requirements for the role:
A degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant engineering or science background, technical, scientific knowledge and experience in the testing and application of Clean Air products.
Skill in the logical collation and interpretation of business demands, reactor design, and analytical instrumentation to support novel catalyst development needs.
Strong interpersonal leadership and influential abilities to work with individuals possessing a wide range of skills, knowledge and capabilities.
