Mechanical Engineer

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Duration: 12 month renewable contract

Negotiable hourly rate €

 

Leap29 is currently working with a major client, which operate within the chemical, petrochemical, construction industry and others. Who require a Lead Mechanical Engineer, who is experienced working on EPC/EPCm contracts.

Responsibilities:

• You work together with engineers, designers and supervisors and have intensive contact with colleagues, clients, government, suppliers, contractors, and many other stakeholders.
• You work independently and manage colleagues in your team for various clients on mono- and multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements:

• You have an HBO/WO title in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• You have at least 8 years of work experience as an engineer.
• You are communicatively strong and have ample experience in supporting junior members of the teams.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects is an advantage.
• You can work independently and have experience in managing colleagues in your team.
• You have good communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English is a bonus.
