In this role you will:
Support RF design engineering with facilitating mounting and testing products on evaluation boards. Products include power and low noise amplifiers, filters, switches and decoders in highly integrated modules.
Collect, store and compile the data for design engineering for seamless analysis using data visualization tools, such as Tibco Spotfire, Excel or other plotting tools.
Maintain the lab and equipment for cleanliness, safety, equipment inventory and calibration.
Tune and test evaluation boards, including changing SMD components (case sizes 080004, 01005, 0201) and lasering products for tuning.
Education and Qualifications:
Minimum requirement of AS EE (or similar) with a focus in RF or electronics
Preferred 3+ years of technical experience with Semiconductor components
Requires good understanding of RF test setup and equipment limitations for testing IP3, P1dB, harmonics, NF, EVM, SEM, BE, s-parameters, among other tests.
Experience with troubleshooting integrated RF modules. Ability to change SMD components and die, bond wires, using Tweezers, soldering irons and microscopes is a plus.
Thorough understanding of RF test setups and ability to troubleshoot systems when issues arise.
