About the job: 

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background in Industrial Cybersecurity to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a deep understanding of designing industrial networks, integrating IT and OT systems, and working with control and telecom systems. The candidate should possess the ability to review block diagrams and network architectures from a cybersecurity perspective to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Your responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and implement secure industrial network infrastructure solutions for the Oil & Gas industry, integrating IT and OT systems.
• Evaluate and analyze the existing network architecture and infrastructure for potential vulnerabilities and suggest improvements to enhance security.
• Review and assess block diagrams, network architectures, and control and telecom systems from a cybersecurity perspective, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, OT, and telecom departments, to ensure seamless and secure network integration.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the organization's critical infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on industrial cybersecurity matters to other team members and stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and assess the security posture of the organization's network infrastructure, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
• Participate in incident response planning, investigation, and remediation for cybersecurity events.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, digital technologies, and cybersecurity threats to ensure the company's networks and systems remain secure and up to date.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: 

Qualification/ Certification: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, CCNP) are preferred

Communication:

• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

Core Competencies:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on industrial network engineering and cybersecurity.
• Deep knowledge of IT and OT systems, control systems, and telecom systems used in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing secure industrial network architectures and infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, including familiarity with NIST, IEC, and ISO frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project work, site visits, and client meetings
