Job Description & Requirements

As a testing and commissioning engineer, you will need to ensure that the equipment under test met the testing requirement specify in the standard and it also met the client's specification. Has good understanding on electrical design, protection schemes and testing methods.

Typical tasks include:

Drafting of testing procedures
Continues improvement on the testing procedure with latest standard
Review on operational procedure for better productivity and efficiency
Scheduling and coordinate with project tight timeline
Ensuring that the test is carried out according to its specification and pass the relevant standard
Conduct testing according to test procedures
Preform site investigation and prepare finding report
Troubleshooting, fault finding and implementing corrective action
Provide technical support to installation/project engineers
Lead a team of engineering and technical staff
Prepare documentation/test report for submission to customer
Advise and ensuring testing is carried out in safe working condition
Provide training to maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
