The person in this position will manage the Process Engineering Department with responsibility for the plant manufacturing process. This position is continuous improvement focused on process quality and cost.
You will have the opportunity to:
Supervise process engineers & process engineering specialists.
Assign work, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
Develop, coach, & mentor direct reports using HR management systems and other development programs.
Lead continuous improvement and process capability activities.
Manage development & maintenance of process SOP’s.
Develop workplans & projects with a focus on Quality, Delivery, & Cost.
Develop strategic plans related to current manufacturing processes and the future state.
Lead & assigns capital projects.
Develops& execute department budget.
Education and Experience Required
BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or related)
At least 10 years' experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Experience analyzing and developing manufacturing processes including process improvement.
