How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice: The Information Security Engineer is responsible for delivering mission critical security applications from planning & deployment to operations.

As an Information Security Engineer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead both Build and Run phases of organization-wide, SaaS-based, information security tools including Cybersecurity Asset Management, Identity Management, Cloud Password Manager, and Secure Software Development.
Take ownership to maximize adoption and ensure each tool provides maximum value.
Provide excellent service by establishing relationships and regularly communicating to stakeholders.

What you'll bring to the table:

Proven ability to design, deploy then manage security tools in a global environment – including the creation of systems engineering and operations documentation.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
Responds quickly and tactfully to high pressure situations. Escalates when needed.
3-5 years of mid level information technology or information security experience.
Experience designing, deploying, and/or supporting a broad range of information security tools.
Demonstrated experience with Identity Management and Asset Management tools.

What can help you really stand out:

Solid understanding of client-server software deployment, asset management, and identity management.
Information security related training or certifications such as CompTIA Security+.
Understand ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) concepts of incident, change request, and problem.
Preference for candidates with fundamental proficiency with secure software development.

The details:

Location: Remote
Hours: Typical PST (Pacific Standard Time) business hours, flexibility is available
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Bend, stoop, and carry
Repeating motion that may include wrists, hands, and fingers
Travel requirements: Up to 10%

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location:

$100,000 - $120,000 USD/annually

Paula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
