Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Mechanical Engineer on a Permanent basis based on the outskirts of Witney, Oxfordshire.

This will be working Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm, with the occasional Saturday in case of business needs.

Own Transport would be needed due to location.

The role is paying between 28k-33k depending on experience.

Duties

You will be required to build/assemble all mechanical components on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles.

Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience with vehicle building (ideally HGV)
Supervisory experience would be a benefit
Some form of experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles-would be beneficial but not essential

Essential Skills

Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveting etc)
Interpretation of engineering data (Drawings, schematics etc)
Basic Fabrication Skills
Basic Level of H&S understanding
Fluent in English
Driving licence/Car

Highly Desirable Skills

Experience in pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
Welding (TIG/MIG)
