On a typical day, a barista's tasks might include:
• Greeting customers, explaining menu and answering questions, listening to their orders, and preparing beverages and snacks as requested
• Cleaning and stocking kitchen and customer areas
• Operating coffee-making equipment according to instructions and performing preventative maintenance to keep it in good running order.
